Customer Experience Administrator (2 positions available)

Join an ethical and award-winning employee owned outdoor clothing brand as a Customer Experience Administrator (2 positions available).

Páramo Directional Clothing designs and distributes durable garments for outdoor people, using unique and superior fabric systems to keep them comfortable in extreme environments. The products are indefinitely renewable using Nikwax® aftercare and their innovative design allows the garments to be recycled at the end of their useable lifetime.

We develop our products in-house, from the headquarters in Wadhurst, East Sussex, with the garments manufactured at The Miquelina Foundation in Bogotá, Colombia. This partnership started in 1992 and has assisted over 10,000 vulnerable women to find a better life, away from prostitution or exploitative situations. With Páramo’s support, the factory has carried the World Fair Trade label since 2017.

The Role

Ensure that customer enquiries and other contacts are dealt with in an effective and efficient manner by providing a friendly first contact service in line with the company’s values and ethos.

You Will

  • Provide a friendly and efficient service at all relevant touch points with the brand including face to face and on the phone
  • Manage incoming mailboxes, providing a first class service to customer queries, passing over to relevant departments where applicable
  • Liaise with the Páramo workshop to provide customers with booking slots, information and payments, maintaining the responsibility of being the main point of contact for the customer throughout their interaction
  • Be the point of contact for all customers needing to make garment returns to Páramo including processing any payments/refunds in line with company process
  • Manage incoming recycling scheme garments in a quick and efficient manner
  • Process Páramo consumer data where necessary and in compliance with GDPR
  • Compile reporting on key metrics as specified by the Customer Experience Manager to allow for continuous improvement of Páramo’s customer interaction
  • Provide support in the absence of the Customer Experience Manager

You Will Be

  • Customer orientated with experience of working directly with customers
  • A good communicator who has the ability to follow processes and procedures
  • Able to work under pressure and have a keen eye for detail
  • Adept with Microsoft IT packages
  • Qualified ideally up to GCSE level (or equivalent) in English and Maths

There are two roles available, these are full time and based onsite in our offices in Wadhurst, East Sussex.

IT Systems Administrator

The Role

Maintain the availability of I.T. Systems by being responsible for server and network administration, provide 2nd line support on hardware and software across all sites and countries, and be accountable for IT procurement.

You Will

  • Be responsible for the administration and support of internal servers using server technologies including Vmware/ESXi, SQL, Exchange and Active Directory. You will be accountable for file servers, spam and web filtering, software licensing, backups of files, systems, databases and patch management
  • Administrate and support the SAN, NAS devices and network infrastructure as well as WAN systems including ADSL lines, private circuits and VPNs
  • Support company communication systems including telephone lines, PDQ’s (including PCIDSS regulations) and the internal digital phone system
  • Be responsible for the administration and support of external web servers using server technologies such as Apache, MySQL, IIS 7 and SQL
  • Assist with end user support for both hardware and software for all UK based workstations across all areas of UK operations, along with providing support and guidance to non-UK entities
  • Support the company Intranet, Dimensions, EPOS systems, SQL, MS Excel and MS Access reporting framework and internal Helpdesks
  • Be responsible for the administration and management of DNS services across company domains

You Will Be

  • Experienced in managing and maintaining a Windows Server environment
  • Certified as a Microsoft Systems Administrator (MCSA)
  • A Microsoft Certified Professional
  • Organised with good prioritisation skills
  • A good communicator (written and verbal) with great interpersonal skills
  • Focussed with an eye for detail

The successful applicant will be based at home but will be required to attend our offices in Wadhurst, East Sussex, at least once a week.

Group Marketing Team Assistant

The Role

Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Marketing Department by organising and administrating marketing assets, digital advertising and departmental processes and assisting with the creation and implementation of marketing activity.

You Will

  • Deliver routine reports and requested data for all business requirements and meetings whilst ensuring reports are up to date and accurate for both Nikwax and Páramo
  • Administrate and support the SAN, NAS devices and network infrastructure as well as WAN systems including ADSL lines, private circuits and VPNs
  • Provide general support to increase the output of the brands’ digital marketing and assist with Marketing helpdesk as required
  • Ensure that the filing and processing of digital assets is up-to-date and organised appropriately, including social media assets, brand assets and joint image library
  • Assist with the editing of videos, loading to YouTube and resizing for social media along with the creation of short social media videos
  • Assist with digital and e-commerce advertising, as required by specified team members, for example copywriting and image re-sizing
  • Provide updates on the performance of digital advertising as required by specified team members.

You Will Be

  • Accomplished in copywriting, implementing social media campaigns and able to use video editing software
  • Experienced in providing administrative support to a team
  • Adept with online analytics platforms (such as Google Analytics, Email, Facebook Ads Manager)
  • Organised with good communication skills, able to multitask with a strong eye for detail
  • Proficient in MS Office, in particular Microsoft Excel
